If your employees have access to Advantages via their electronic Childcare Vouchers account, we can also help you communicate this. Alternatively, Parents can choose to receive regular updates on the latest offers and last minute deals directly into their inbox, simply by ticking the box in their Profile page of their electronic account.

Salary Sacrifice Agreements

Please use the relevant form depending on how you are intending to handle new joiners from April. The first two are for employers who are restricting the amount that an employee can get to the tax exempt maximums:

Salary Sacrifice Agreement 1

This is for employees who will enrol for a maximum of £243 a month and where you, upon receiving the list of new joiners, perform basic earnings assessments and amend the amount based on the result of this assessment. This agreement includes a statement that a parent must confirm they have read and understood, informing them that the amount they have amended could be changed subject to a basic earnings assessment.*

Salary Sacrifice Agreement 2

This is for employees who will initially go to you for a basic earnings assessment and apply at the same time for an amount based on the result of the assessment. For this scenario, the agreement shows the different tax exempt amounts i.e. one for a maximum of £243 a month, one for a maximum of £124 a month and one for maximum of £97 a month.*

Salary Sacrifice Agreement 3

This is for employees who will continue to be allowed £243 but have tax and NI applied to anything over the tax exempt maximum. For example a higher rate taxpayer would receive £243 but tax and NI would be applied to £119. The form includes a comment explaining this.*
