Amadeus Services Case Study

Employee benefits magazine announced the winners of the 2010 Employee Benefits Awards at a ceremony held in London, on the 25th June.  There were 100 finalists and only 21 winners, with four of these being Edenred’s clients.  A further three clients were runners up to the award and two reached the finalist stage.

Winners were recognised for the best reward and benefits strategies among employers in the UK:

Amadeus Services, with the  Made4us programme, were finalists in the ‘Most effective benefits strategy for organisations with fewer than 1,000 staff category, with Edenred being their provider.

Amadeus Services operates in a highly-competitive sector with a mobile workforce. When its benefits scheme began suffering a backlash from staff, it needed to introduce a new scheme within existing budget to create renewed enthusiasm for benefits. After it introduced a new range of online voluntary benefits (including tax-efficient options offered via salary sacrifice) and online total reward statements, employee take-up increased. Overall perception and value of the scheme also improved.
